Quote maker questions
Is this quote maker free?
Yes. Making and previewing a quote is free and needs no account. To download the PDF, save it to your Quotes or send it, create a free Invoixy account with Google or Apple. The free plan includes 3 invoices/month free.
Will I lose my quote when I sign up?
No. Your quote is kept in this browser while you sign up, and you come straight back to it with the PDF ready.
Is a quote the same as an estimate?
Close, but not quite. An estimate is a best guess that can move as the job unfolds; a quote is a firmer price for the work described. Whichever you give, say what would change the number.
How long should a quote be valid?
Thirty days is common. If your material prices move quickly, a shorter window such as 7 or 14 days protects you. The PDF states the exact date.
What happens when the client accepts?
The PDF has a signature line, so the client can sign and send it back. Then bill the same work with our free invoice generator.
