What should a receipt include?

Who was paid and by whom, the date, what was bought, any sales tax, the amount paid and how it was paid. This maker adds a zero balance line so it's clear nothing is owed.

Can I put a card number on a receipt?

Only the last four digits, such as Visa ending 4417. Never write a full card number on a receipt; this maker won't accept one.

What's the difference between a receipt and an invoice?

An invoice asks to be paid; a receipt confirms you were. If the customer hasn't paid yet, use our free invoice generator instead.
